Practical Experience
Over 20 years of in-house legal practice in Australian corporations, including 17 years in the Commonwealth Bank. Practice experience in property, litigation, commercial, establishing and managing an in-house incorporated legal practice, trusts, managed investments, banking and finance and securitisation. In 2007, advised a client financial institution on its participation in a pilot trial of the Victorian electronic conveyancing system. In 2010 was an Adjunct Lecturer in ethics for Sydney University Law Faculty for their Legal Profession course for undergraduate law students. Regularly presents ethics sessions in the Legal Practice Management Course for Corporate & Government Lawyers.
Previously served as a Councillor of the New South Wales Law Society (6 years) and a Director of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association (7 years). Also a trained accountant.
