Practical Experience
Admitted to practice in 1976. More than 25 years experience as a solicitor in private practice as a principal focusing on general commercial work, civil litigation and property practice. Also an accredited mediator. Prior to the establishment of the Legal Services Commission, investigated and prosecuted many disciplinary matters on behalf of the Queensland Law Society. Also has extensive experience in the areas of legal ethics, professional responsibility and trust accounting. Presently works with the Queensland Law Society’s Professional Standards Department providing legal and ethical advice to solicitors and undertaking complaint and trust account investigations.
