Admitted to practice in 1981. Worked with the Crown Solicitor's office while studying before then working in private practice. Had a general legal practice until 1990, and thereafter increasingly practiced in the areas of family and criminal law, often as an Independent Children's Lawyer. Accredited Specialist in Family Law since 1989 and Criminal Law since 1994.
