Practical Experience

Admitted to the Victorian Supreme Court and enrolled at the Australian High Court and Federal Court in 2001. Private practice as a general legal practitioner with emphasis on litigation, property and business law. Previous teaching experience as a sessional tutor in arts and law for the University of New England, Deakin University, and as a private tutor. Joined The College of Law in March, 2007 and appointed as Senior Lecturer in January 2011. Has presented papers concerning professional responsibility and ethics, teaching and learning, and evidence-based best practice in PLT at the Australasian Professional Legal Education Conference in 2008 (Auckland), 2010 (Bond University), and the Third International Legal Ethics Conference 2008 (Gold Coast). Currently undertaking a master’s degree in professional education and training at Deakin University by part coursework and research.
