Programs

Our Applied Law Programs give you the option to commence the program at the Graduate Certificate level, and then articulate to a Masters; they are postgraduate nested award programs:

  • Graduate Certificate in Applied Law (Family Law)
  • Graduate Diploma of Applied Law (Family Law)
  • Master of Applied Law (Family Law)

Program Structure

Graduate Certificate

Core – 2 subjects

Graduate Diploma

Core – 3 subjects
Elective – 1 subject

Masters

Core – 3 subjects
Electives – 4 subjects

Fees

Tuition fees are $1,850 per subject (GST exempt).

Attendance Mode

Our Applied Law Programs are supervised online programs. 

Supervised online programs incorporate self-paced online learning with the supervision and support of an experienced lawyer who is available to answer questions and assess your performance.

Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Points

You may claim up to 15 units per subject for your CLE/CPD requirements, depending on your jurisdiction.

Program Admission Requirements

In order to gain admission to the Applied Law Programs you are required to:

  • hold a law degree or equivalent qualification (LLB, LLM or Diploma of Law), and
  • be admitted to practise as a lawyer in an Australian jurisdiction

Advanced Standing

There may be opportunities for advanced standing in the Graduate Diploma or Master of Applied Law (Family Law), in particular for Accredited Specialists in practice areas relevant to the Program.
