Master of Applied Law (Wills & Estates)
This masters of law course, unlike an LLM, focuses on the practical delivery of legal services in the area of wills and estates practice. It is delivered primarily online via the College’s Learning Portal and offers a high degree of flexibility and is designed to accommodate the needs of busy practitioners.
The program is designed for national coverage of the law and practice in this specific area. All subjectsi include NSW specific content, and the first three core subjects are developed to incorporate the law and practice as it stands in Queensland, with the remainder of subjects to be developed in 2013, along with Victorian specific content.
To graduate with the Master of Applied Law (Wills & Estates) you must complete a total of seven subjects. You can choose to exit the degree at an earlier stage and be awarded a Graduate Diploma of Applied Law (Wills & Estates) or a Graduate Certificate in Applied Law (Wills & Estates).

"The major benefit of the program for me is the increased knowledge gained, thereby allowing me to be confident in the quality and value of my advice to clients. The standard of teaching, materials, and the depth of support is excellent."

Should I enrol?
You should consider enrolling if you:
- already practise in the area of wills and estates and want to expand your skills and knowledge in order to build your practice
- have a general practice and wish to gain specialised knowledge in wills and estates

To enrol, you must hold a law degree or equivalent qualification (LLB, LLM or LPAB Diploma of Law) and be admitted to practice as a lawyer in an Australian jurisdiction.
