Land and Environment Court Update: Easements and Compensation
This seminar looks at the law regarding, and the Land and Environment Court's recently revised jurisdiction in respect of, the imposition of easements under s40 of the Land and Environment Court Act 1979 (LEC Act).

Angela Pearman joined the Bar in 1996 and practices predominantly in the areas of Planning and Local Government, Acquisition and Valuation matters, Administrative and Commercial. She was a member of Bar Council for a number of years and Vice Chair of the Equal Opportunity Committee. She is on the Committee of EPLA, the Environmental Planning and Law Association, and on the Animal Welfare Panel of the Bar Association. Prior to joining the Bar she worked for the ABC as a newsreader and presenter for 16 years. She practices from Martin Place Chambers.
Scott Nash is a barrister at Martin Place Chambers, practising in environmental, planning, local government, property and administrative law. He came to the Bar in May 2010.
Between January 2007 and April 2010, he was a solicitor in the environment team at Blake Dawson. He holds a first class honours degree in law from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Sydney.
Scott Nash was elected to Randwick City Council in March 2004, and was re-elected in September 2008. Between September 2006 and September 2008, he was the Chairman of the Randwick City Council Planning Committee and is currently a council member of the Sydney East Joint Regional Planning Panel.
