Privacy Reform and the new Australian Privacy Principles
This seminar looks closely at what the proposed changes to the privacy legislation would mean in practice and their anticipated impact.
This first step (the proposed Australian privacy Principles), will be followed by a further three party. These will include changes to credit reporting, protection of health information, provisions strengthening the Privacy Commissioner’s powers to conduct investigations, resolve complaints and promote compliance with the privacy Act.
