Michelle Painter of 6th Floor St James' Hall Chambers is a member of the Sydney Bar. She has practiced in the field of trade practices for 15 years, first as a solicitor and then for the last decade as a barrister. She has expertise in Part IV, Part IVA and Part V matters, and has appeared for the ACCC and for private clients. She also practices in equity, commercial and insolvency matters. She is a former Director of the board of the College of Law.
Scott Nash is a barrister at Martin Place Chambers, practising in environmental, planning, local government, property and administrative law. He came to the Bar in May 2010.
Between January 2007 and April 2010, he was a solicitor in the Environment team at Blake Dawson. He holds a first class honours degree in law from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Sydney.
Scott Nash was elected to Randwick City Council in March 2004, and was re-elected in September 2008. Between September 2006 and September 2008, he was the Chairman of the Randwick City Council Planning Committee and is currently a council member of the Sydney East Joint Regional Planning Panel. In September this year, Scott was elected the Mayor of Randwick City Council.
