Why the choice of Work Experience Component options?

The College of Law understands that students have different circumstances and preferences. Therefore we offer you two alternatives to consider for the Work Experience Component of your Practical Legal Training.

If you have already gained lengthy legal work experience before enrolment, or if you are working part-time or you have a placement lined up in the future, then 75 days of work experience may be the best choice for your situation.

However, if you would prefer to undertake a shorter period of work experience, you can undertake 25 days of Work Experience and then enrol in our Clinical Experience Module which counts as the equivalent of 50 days of work experience. Please note that there is an additional fee for the Clinical Experience Module which must be paid at the time of enrolment in the module. See Program Fees for details.

You should consider each alternative carefully before making a decision, particularly the Work Experience Rules for the state in which you will seek admission.

Detailed information about the Work Experience Component is found here: Work Experience Information.
