Ly Lawyers is a firm specialising in criminal and family law. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated student to employ as a clerk/paralegal in our Liverpool office.

Students with a genuine desire to practice in the areas of criminal and family law are encouraged to apply. Your responsibilities will range from administrative to legal work. The work you will perform includes assisting our lawyers in preparing for defended and sentencing matters, court appearances to mention matters with leave, research, drafting legal documents, in particular those relating to family law, drafting correspondence with clients and other interested parties, file management, and general office duties such as answering phone calls and photocopying. There will also be opportunities to attend jury trials, hearings and sentencing matters with our solicitors.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious future solicitor to get their foot in the door, develop their legal skills and learn the craft of advocacy in a litigation environment.
