The College of Law New Zealand is the largest provider of the New Zealand pre-admission practical legal training programme – the Professional Legal Studies Course (PLSC). The College is one of five Colleges of Law (New South Wales, New Zealand, Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia) operated by The College of Law, which is established for charitable educational purposes, to service the needs of the practising legal profession throughout Australasia.
Adjunct Instructors
The NZ College is always interested in receiving CVs for the role of adjunct instructors to assist in the teaching of its 18-week pre-admission Professional Legal Studies Course - an online learning programme with onsite skills workshops taught in five cities.
The primary role will be to teach, at onsites, the three skills workshops that currently form part of the College’s PLSC programme:
The positions, which are part-time contractor roles, may become available in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton or Wellington.
Required qualifications and skills:

Admitted to practise law

Four years post-admission practical legal experience
-
Recent in-depth experience in commercial practice, or property practice, or civil litigation practice
