We make it easy for you to tailor a Profs course around your commitments.
With the College of Law, you can mix and match workshop locations and dates as you please. You might do your first one in Auckland – and then your next two online. You’re in full control.
Have you found a course length and start date that best fits your schedule? If so, great! The next step in securing your tailored Profs programme is selecting your workshop options.
You need to attend three workshops. Each workshop runs across multiple days – and you can only take one workshop at a time. Workshops cannot be taken in the first week of your course due to the preparation required prior to your attendance.
We strongly recommend you take Advocacy at the end of your Profs course wherever possible. What you learn in other Profs subjects (especially Civil Litigation) will allow for a more holistic understanding of the Advocacy process.
Please choose your workshop dates carefully – changing dates may incur a fee.
Alongside your workshops, your Profs course includes four subjects that require written or online submissions. These have fewer attendance requirements compared to workshops and can be completed in your own time, though you'll need to meet the advertised due dates.
The scheduled dates for these online subjects are listed in the course timetable. Click here to learn more.
If you’re unsure about your workshop choices, our Profs enrolment form now features a ‘Suggest Workshops’ tool.
Simply select your preferred timing (Daytime, Evening, or All), and we’ll recommend workshop options that suit your schedule.
You can review and adjust the suggestions before confirming. It’s quick, flexible, and designed to simplify your enrolment.
Yes. With the Flex Factor, you can choose different locations and times for each workshop.
You might take Interviewing in the daytime in Auckland, and then Advocacy in the evening, online.
We offer many workshop options throughout the year. However, we can’t guarantee your preferred option will be available at the time you wish.
If you’re set on your course start date, you may need to select a different workshop start date – or choose to complete it online.
Workshops only appear on the enrolment form if space is available – we operate on a first in first served basis. Also, workshops will not appear if the dates overlap with another workshop you’ve selected.
If you can’t see your workshop on the enrolment form, please select another workshop date.Have you decided on your preferred course length, start date, and workshop options? If your answer is "yes", click the button below to begin the enrolment process.
