What will I learn?

  • Critically analyse a recent judgment handed down in an actual legal disciplinary matter, identify what went wrong and how it could have been prevented
  • Analyse the way in which clients’ (or any consumers of legal services) expectations are identified and managed in a legal office or workplace
  • Analyse the way in which legal personnel and processes are used to resolve actual client or consumer problems
  • Analyse the way in which legal management processes are employed in an office or workplace that delivers legal services
  • Understand emerging technologies and the influence they will have on legal work and workplaces
  • Demonstrate the ability to discuss your work and ideas with a senior practitioner and incorporate a mentor’s input into your own understanding of legal practice and legal professionalism.
