Programme Structure
How is the programme structured?
To complete the GDLP programme, you will need to complete the Profs programme, and undertake two components:
- Work experience: A 12 week full-time legal job placement that meet the requirements of the College’s Work Experience Rules and is under the supervision of a practising lawyer.
- Analytical reflections: Four reflections of between 1500 – 2000 words that are based on the work experience placement.
Students can start the work experience component concurrently or after they have completed the Profs programme. Once you have finished your 12 week work experience placement, you are free to undertake the four analytical reflections.
At the satisfactory completion of the two components, students will be awarded the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. This will entitle you to one subject credit towards the College’s new LLM (Applied Law) programme.
In addition, students will also be able to claim CPD points.
